Swedish Viking metal giants Amon Amarth have officially announced their upcoming studio album, The Allfather Awakens, scheduled for release on October 2, 2026.

The first single, “Gjallarhorn,” signals a confident return to the band’s signature combination of crushing riffs, epic melodies and Norse mythology while introducing fresh dynamics that expand their already recognizable sound.

Following the album release, Amon Amarth will embark on The Allfather Awakens European Tour, joined by fellow Swedish metal forces Orbit Culture and Soilwork. The tour is expected to be one of the strongest melodic death metal packages of the year and will bring together three bands representing different generations of the Swedish metal scene.

Orbit Culture continues to establish itself as one of the fastest-rising names in modern metal. After earning widespread recognition through recent international festival appearances and critically acclaimed releases, the band enters this tour with considerable momentum and increasing global attention.
