FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — June 25, 2026.
Wave Z, an alternative rock band from Caserta, Italy, release ‘Faith’ — a track that strips belief down to its rawest form: not certainty, but the act of waiting for something that may never come.
‘Faith’ doesn't dress up hope as comfort. The song circles around a single, exhausting idea: the promise that someone — a savior, a person, an answer — will eventually arrive, paired with the quiet, growing suspicion that they won't. ‘Faith no more’ isn't a rejection of belief, it's belief stretched past the point of reason, kept alive out of habit more than conviction.
Musically, the track leans into repetition as a structural device — the looping ‘for now’ of the pre-chorus mirrors the numbing rhythm of waiting itself, while the chorus opens into something closer to release without ever fully resolving. It's a song built to sit in discomfort rather than escape it, in line with Wave Z's broader refusal to turn pain into easy catharsis.
‘Faith’ continues Wave Z's exploration of existential weight and the spaces people build to survive it — not through resolution, but through honesty about what waiting actually feels like.
About Wave Z
Wave Z are an alternative rock band from Caserta, Italy. Formed around a refusal to fit — into a scene, into an aesthetic, into someone else's idea of what a band should be — they build songs out of repressed anger, existential weight, and the kind of honesty that tends to make people uncomfortable. Their sound pulls from post-hardcore and alternative rock without belonging entirely to either. Live, they operate as a ritual. On record, as an exorcism.
Members: Marco (vocals), Antonio (guitar), Bart (bass), Alfonso (drums).
