Italian modern metalcore band Inconvenience are back with a new single, “Roses” — the second chapter of their upcoming 2027 album, and one of their most emotionally charged tracks to date.
Formed as a post-hardcore project at the end of 2022 by singer Jimmy Burrow (ex-HELIA guitarist), guitarist Adrian Leaf and drummer Marco Vai, the band has since evolved into its current lineup: Jimmy Burrow on vocals, Luke Pezzini (ex-TASTERS) on guitar, Mitch Berti on bass, and Marco Vai on drums. Based on Italy's west coast, they describe themselves simply as a modern metalcore band — but their sound reaches further than the label suggests.
“Roses” blends heavy guitar riffs with ambient electronic textures, exploding into a melodic chorus enriched by icy female harmonies. It pushes the band into a darker, more emotional place — a natural evolution from the more direct energy of their earlier work, and a clear signal of where the 2027 album is heading.
The track follows a steady run of releases that shaped the band's identity: their 2022 debut single “This Is Your World” featuring Danny Metal (ELYNE), the 2023 singles “Hollow and Empty”, “Shivers” and “Rockstar”, and a strong 2024 stretch built around singles “Rope”, “Walls”, “October”, the double release “Lost” / “Shape” and the album “SILENCE”. In July 2026, “Roses” opens the second chapter of the upcoming 2027 record.
For fans of Bad Omens, Architects and Falling in Reverse, Inconvenience sit comfortably alongside the modern wave of European metalcore — melodic, atmospheric and cinematic, without losing the weight of the riffs underneath.
The band is currently working with Hero Agency for their upcoming gigs and tours, with new dates being organised around the album cycle. Between the new single, the momentum of “SILENCE” and the promise of a full 2027 release, Inconvenience are shaping up as one of the more focused modern metalcore names to watch coming out of Italy.
“Roses” is out now on Spotify and YouTube with an official video. Turn it up loud.
